What to do with Idle accounts
Next steps depend on the type of customer, and the approach your business takes with them:
Consider the following options
Move them onto a different workflow
You may want to escalate the account onto a more serious workflow (i.e. Stop Work, Stop Credit)
To do this:
1. Tick the box next to the account name then,
2. Press the Change collector button then,
3. Select the new workflow then,
4. Press Change
NB: Consider Automatic workflow escalation
Restart the same workflow
This is especially useful if the older invoice(s) has been paid, and younger invoice(s) should be back in the original workflow.
To do this:
1. Go to the Contacts view then,
2. Search for the account then,
3. Press the Mute button then,
4. Press Unmute
Send to Collection
As a last resort you can send the account to Collections.
To do this:
1. Tick the box next to the account name then,
2. Press the Move to button then,
3. Select Collect then,
4. Proceed with the next steps here
