How to record better contact details for a contact.
A common outcome of a phone call is that you obtain better contact details for a contact. You may also find these online, or be advised by another team member.
Updating contact details with Skip Tracing
Click the Skip Tracing tab
Enter the updated details
Click Update
The new details will be used for future email reminders, SMS reminders and calls
NB: Skip tracing an email address will replace the email address in the app.
To skip trace an Additional email address add the original email address and the new email into the field, separated with a comma.
Note, the new contact details will NOT be updated in your accounting software.
