Can a Payment Default Be Removed?
Payment defaults registered on CreditorWatch are unique to our bureau.
To protect the integrity of our data, payment defaults cannot be removed once recorded. This ensures that all credit checks performed against a business remain accurate and reliable.
Updating a Payment Default
Only fully paid defaults can be updated to Settled.
Once the listing entity marks the default as Settled, the status will instantly appear on the business credit file.
