The risk alerts email gives you a clear, daily summary of important changes across the businesses you monitor in CreditorWatch. It highlights adverse events, risk changes, and newly monitored entities so you can quickly assess risk and take action.


What’s included in the risk alerts email

The alerts email helps you scan, assess, and prioritise risk updates at a glance. It includes:

  • A clean, modular layout that groups alerts by category

  • A prominent total alert count, including critical events

  • Contextual summaries that distinguish new adverse events from historical data

  • Quick links that take you directly to detailed insights in the platform


When to use the new alerts email

You’ll receive a risk alerts email when CreditorWatch detects changes for entities you monitor, including when:

  • New adverse events are identified

  • RiskScore changes occur

  • Newly monitored entities have existing adverse data


How to get the most from your alerts

What triggers alerts

Alerts are automatically generated based on your monitored entities and alert criteria. Your daily email may include:

  • Adverse events, such as:

    • Payment defaults

    • ATO tax defaults

    • Court actions

  • Other changes, including:

    • RiskScore updates

    • Directorship changes

  • Newly monitored entities with an adverse history

Viewing alert details

You can drill into alerts directly from the email or within the CreditorWatch platform.

From email

  1. Click View all latest alerts to see all current alerts.

  2. Click a category link to jump to a specific alert type.

  3. Click an individual monitored entity to view more detail.

From the platform

  1. Log in to your CreditorWatch account.

  2. Open the Alerts tab.

  3. Filter by alert type to narrow your results.

Customising your alert settings

You can control what you’re notified about using alert settings.

To update your settings:

  1. Click Manage alerts from the customise alert banner or the email footer.

  2. Adjust your preferences to suit your risk appetite.

For example, you can:

  • Receive alerts only when a RiskScore falls below a selected level (such as C3 or lower)

  • Disable high‑risk notifications for newly monitored entities
