The Status filter has been enhanced to support historical status review and flexible matching logic.

When to use historical status filtering
Use historical status filters to:
Audit workflow progression
Identify bottlenecks
Review how applications moved through each stage
Using the Status filter
Filter by current status only (default)
When Past and Current is not enabled, ApplyEasy filters applications based on their current status only.
Example
Select E‑Signature Requested
Results show only applications currently waiting for an e‑signature
Filter by past and current statuses
When Past and Current is enabled, ApplyEasy returns applications that:
Are currently in the selected status, or
Have been in the selected status at any point in their lifecycle
Example: Find all applications that ever required a signature
Enable Past and Current
Select E‑Signature Requested
Results include:
Applications currently waiting for signatures
Applications where an e‑signature was requested in the past, even if now approved or rejected
Using AND logic with status filters
By default, selected statuses use OR logic. You can change this to AND logic using the All checkbox.
When AND logic applies
AND logic is applied when:
Past and Current is enabled
All is checked
Multiple statuses are selected
ApplyEasy will return applications that have been in all selected statuses at some point in their lifecycle.

Applications that never progressed through all selected stages are excluded.

Past and Current is available only for the Status filter
OR logic remains the default behaviour
AND logic is controlled using the All checkbox
Status filtering applies only to dynamic workflow statuses

Does this change historical data?
No. This feature only changes how filters are applied in the inbox.
Does enabling Past and Current affect performance?
No. The system is optimised to query application lifecycle history efficiently.
Can I combine this with other filters?
Yes. Filters can be combined freely. AND/OR logic applies within each filter category.
