Action Intelligence: FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Action Intelligence?

Action Intelligence provides clear, actionable guidance for the businesses you monitor in CreditorWatch. Rather than simply notifying you of changes in credit risk or payment behaviour, it recommends the most appropriate action to help you decide what to do next.

What types of recommendations will I see?

Action Intelligence assigns one of four recommendation categories:

  • Business as Usual

    • No immediate action required.

  • Seek Further Clarity

    • Monitor closely and gather more information.

  • Secure Your Position

    • Consider proactive measures to help protect your business.

  • Act Immediately

    • Urgent action may be required to reduce risk.

Who is this feature for?

Action Intelligence is designed for credit and accounts receivable professionals of all experience levels. It helps teams:

  • Interpret risk alerts more confidently

  • Prioritise high-risk accounts

  • Reduce time spent assessing alerts

  • Focus on the most important follow-up actions

Availability and Access

Do I need to pay extra for Action Intelligence?

No. Action Intelligence is included with all CreditorWatch subscriptions at no additional cost.

Will I see recommendations for all the businesses I track?

No. Recommendations are only available for businesses that are actively monitored in CreditorWatch. If a business is not on your Watchlist, recommendations will not be displayed.

Using Action Intelligence

Where can I see recommendations?

Recommendations are available in the following locations:

  • Alerts page

    • View recommendations alongside alerts, apply filters, and access detailed explanations.

  • Dashboard

    • View recommendation summaries for quick visibility of emerging risk.

  • Credit report

    • View the latest recommendation when reviewing a monitored business.

  • Alert emails

    • View recommendations directly within your daily risk alert emails.

Can I filter alerts by recommendation type?

Yes. On the Alerts page, you can filter alerts by any recommendation category. These filters work alongside existing alert filters and can be saved for future use.

How do I understand why a recommendation was made?

Click a recommendation to open the detailed explanation panel. This displays the key risk factors and supporting context that contributed to the recommendation.

How It Works

How are recommendations generated?

Recommendations are generated using AI and are based on:

  • The specific risk alert that was triggered

  • The entity's credit profile at that point in time

As a business's circumstances change, different alerts may generate different recommendations.

Are recommendations personalised to my credit policies?

Not currently. Recommendations are based on the risk event and the entity's credit context.

What if I disagree with a recommendation?

You can provide feedback by selecting the thumbs up or thumbs down option on a recommendation. Feedback helps improve the feature over time.

If you select thumbs down, you can also provide additional comments.

Data and Privacy

What data is used to generate recommendations?

Recommendations are generated using:

  • Risk alert data, such as credit rating changes or payment behaviour

  • Entity-specific information available in CreditorWatch when the alert is triggered

Does CreditorWatch use my company's payment data to generate recommendations for other customers?

No. Customer-submitted payment behaviour data is not currently used to generate recommendations.

Support and Feedback

What if I have feedback or questions about a recommendation?

You can submit feedback directly within the product using the thumbs up or thumbs down options. For urgent questions or concerns, please contact Support.

What if I'm not seeing any recommendations?

Recommendations are only available for monitored businesses.

If recommendations are not appearing:

  • Confirm the business is on your Watchlist

  • Ensure monitoring has been enabled for the business

  • Contact Support if recommendations are still not displayed

Can I turn off recommendations?

No. Action Intelligence recommendations cannot currently be disabled.

What's Next?

Will there be more recommendation types in the future?

Action Intelligence currently includes four recommendation categories. Additional recommendation types may be introduced in future releases based on customer feedback and usage patterns.

Will I be able to map recommendations to my own credit policies?

This is planned for a future release. The goal is to allow recommendations to align with your organisation's credit policies and risk appetite.

Will recommendations trigger workflows or integrate with ERP or CRM systems?

Workflow automation and external integrations are not part of the initial release. These capabilities are being explored for future enhancements based on customer demand.

We are continuously improving the quality, accuracy, and coverage of recommendations based on customer feedback, real-world usage, and ongoing enhancements to our AI models. As the feature evolves, you may notice recommendations becoming more relevant and comprehensive over time.

We regularly review feedback and release enhancements to improve recommendation quality and support additional business scenarios.
