How do I verify my online plan?

Learn how to verify your Australian mobile number using SMS during the CreditorWatch online plan signup process.

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • An Australian mobile number

  • Access to your mobile device to receive SMS messages

SMS Verification Process

Follow these steps to verify your mobile number:

  1. Enter your Australian mobile number during signup.

  2. Click Get started today.

  3. Wait for an SMS with your 6-digit verification code (allow up to one minute).

  4. Enter the code in the verification field.

  5. Click Verify to continue your signup.

Verification Options

If you need to make changes while verifying:

  • Resend code – Click Resend new code if you don’t receive the SMS within a minute.

  • Change number – Click Update here if you entered the wrong mobile number.

Troubleshooting Verification Issues

If you’re having trouble verifying your mobile number:

  • Confirm you entered the correct Australian mobile number.

  • Ensure this number hasn’t been used with another CreditorWatch membership.

  • Wait up to one minute for the SMS to arrive.

  • Remember: SMS verification only works with Australian mobile numbers. International numbers are not supported.
