Connecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 to Debtor Management

Connect your Microsoft Dynamics 365 account to Debtor Management to securely sync customer and financial information and support your debtor management workflows.

Before you start

Before connecting Microsoft Dynamics 365, make sure you:

  • Have administrator access to Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Have permission to grant access to third-party applications

  • Know which Dynamics 365 environment you want to connect

  • Know which company should be linked to Debtor Management

Connect Microsoft Dynamics 365

Step 1: Open Integrations

  1. Log in to the CreditorWatch portal.

  2. Navigate to Debtor Management.

  3. Go to Settings > Integrations.

  4. Locate Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  5. Click Connect.

If you previously started the setup but did not complete it, click Continue Setup instead.

Step 2: Authorise the connection

  1. After clicking Connect, you will be redirected to Microsoft.

  2. Log in using your Microsoft account.

  3. Review the requested permissions.

  4. Select Accept to authorise the connection.

You will be redirected back to Debtor Management once authorisation is complete.

Step 3: Select your environment

  1. Open the Environment dropdown.

  2. Select your Dynamics 365 environment.

  3. Click Continue.

Important: Select your Production environment unless your Dynamics 365 administrator has advised otherwise.

Step 4: Select your company

  1. Open the Company dropdown.

  2. Select the company you want to connect.

  3. Click Continue.

If only one company is available, it may already be selected for you.

Step 5: Complete the setup

After selecting your environment and company:

  1. Wait while Debtor Management configures the connection.

  2. You will be redirected to the integration page once setup is complete.

  3. Confirm that Microsoft Dynamics 365 appears as a connected integration.

Resume an incomplete setup

If you leave the setup process before it is completed, the integration will not be connected.

To resume setup:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Locate Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  3. Click Continue Setup.

  4. Complete the environment and company selection steps.

Troubleshooting

I can't see my environment

Check that:

  • You logged in using the correct Microsoft account

  • Your account has access to the required Dynamics 365 environment

  • The environment is active in your Dynamics 365 tenant

I can't see my company

Check that:

  • You selected the correct environment

  • Your Microsoft account has access to the company you want to connect

Setup was interrupted

If the setup process was interrupted:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Click Continue Setup.

  3. Complete the remaining setup steps.

Which environment should I select?

Select your Production environment unless your Dynamics 365 administrator has advised otherwise.

Can I connect multiple companies?

Select the company that will be used with Debtor Management. If you require a different configuration, contact CreditorWatch Support.

What happens after the integration is connected?

Once connected, Debtor Management can securely access approved customer and financial information from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support debtor management and accounts receivable workflows.
